Hi all,
Our final performance for Once Upon a Mattress is Wednesday, February 10th at 6:00 pm, and we have lots of work to do between now and then.
Our rehearsal schedule for this final week is as follows:
Wednesday, February 3rd 1:30-3:30 all cast
Thursday, February 4th 3-5 all cast
Monday, February 8th 3-5 all cast- Dress rehearsal
Tuesday, February 9th 3-5 all cast- Dress rehearsal
Wednesday, February 10th 5:00 call for all cast to be ready for 6:00 performance.
Costumes:
Girls:
We need as many princess dresses as we can get our hands on. If you have one to lend us or your child has one that she can wear, please send it to school on Wednesday. We would like to see if on Wednesday we have enough princess dresses to outfit all of the girls.
If we do not have enough princess dresses, we have an alternative costume idea that we will discuss at that time.
Boys:
Please wear a long sleeved gray or black t-shirt with no designs or words on the sleeves and plain black pants or sweat pants that have no stripes or designs on them. If you have tall black socks, that would be great, but not required. We will be providing a tunic to wear over it.
Help with stage set-up:
The stage needs to be assembled. We need help on Tuesday, February 2nd at 5:00 pm setting up the stage. It takes a crew of 5 or more people to assemble it properly and takes about half an hour. If you or a family member can help with the stage set-up, please let us know. We would like to be able to have the stage ready for Wednesday's rehearsal.
Thank you so much for your support. We are looking forward to the show!
