Welcome back to the new year. By this point, we should all be able to make a good sound on our instrument and know our first five notes so that we can play songs.
Flutes, please spend time this week on memorizing the fingering for the first five notes (B flat, C, D, E, F.) That will help you to learn the songs more quickly. Be sure to practice pages 4 and 5 in your book to help you with this before you move on to the songs.
All Students:
It is critically important for all students to bring their instrument and book each week. Please be sure to put your book and instrument into your backpack the night before so that you do not forget it.
This week, practice Au Claire de La Lune (26), Hot Crossed Buns (16) and Go Tell Aunt Rhodie (17), and London Bridge Duet (28)
Good luck, and remember to practice 20 minutes a day!
